They therefore have quality goods that are genuine and up to standard. This company has signed up with authorized audio dealers to ensure that you only buy goods that are not counterfeit, goods that bear their name. The best way to make your order is to visit these dealers the reason being that Memphis does not give provision for customer to make an order online. However you can access information about their products from their web site and then you will be linked up with information regarding where their dealers are located.
Eclipse Car Audio
Many drivers love listening to music as they drive their cars and to this effect, numerous companies have come up with new technology, trying to meet the required standards of audio. On top of the list is Eclipse car audio systems, a branch company of Fujitsu-Ten electronics. Their products are efficient, of super quality and are available in a wide range of items that you can choose from.
Among the items available in Eclipse car audio is one that lets you have control over the quality of the sound that your car speakers produce. This it does by delaying the music from the different speakers and then releasing it simultaneously such that you have the full sound reaching you. At the same time you are able to regulate the speakers’ power thus you get to receive a sharper and clearer sound.
Car Audio – TUNE it Up!
One of the best things you can do for your car audio system is to properly tune it. There are several variables to consider when doing this, and I am going to walk to through the most important ones so you will have a good understanding of how to get the most “bang” for the buck from you system.
Assuming you have an amplified system with one or more subwoofers, you can dial in your system to give you the best sound and have the durability you want from it. It starts at the head unit. You want a head unit with a good, strong output signal, between 4 and 5 volts on its pre-outs. Audiophiles tell us that 2-3 volts of good clean signal is good too, but that will require a little more amplifier power to get the decibels we’re looking for. You also want a head unit with an adjustable subwoofer level. Start by tuning the stereo without the subs on. Add your bass and treble until you get the desired sound with minimal distortion at the loudest volume setting you will listen to it at. This is generally about 2/3 max volume.
Understanding Car Audio Crossovers
Car audio crossovers are essential units of car audio systems that are often ignored. Crossovers split frequencies so that each speaker receives a certain range of frequencies. This is for the following reasons:
To avoid speaker damage – Speakers are designed to play a certain range of frequencies. A speaker will produce distortion if other frequencies are played. These other frequencies may destroy it.
Total balance – If a sound system with subwoofers and full-range speakers doesn’t have a crossover, then it leads to a non-balanced sound. Sub woofers play low frequencies well because that’s what they are designed to do. Tweeters handle the high frequencies excellently. A crossover ensures only the right frequency range goes to a particular speaker.
